8 Days A Southern & Central Cruise

8 Days A Southern & Central Cruise

Day by day

Day 1 : Baltra Island & Santa Cruz Island: Bachas Beach

Bachas Beach

Las Bachas, a swimming beach is located on Santa Cruz's north shore. You can see a floating pier here, one of the few vestiges of U.S. World War II in the Galapagos. There are whimbrels, Sally Lightfoot crabs and hermit crabs to be seen. You may also see sea turtles nesting on the beach.
Day 2 : Bartolome Island & Santiago Island: Sullivan Bay

Bartolome Island

Bartholomew is the home of Pinnacle Rock. It's an extinct volcano that has a variety red, orange and black volcanic formations. The summit of the volcano is reached via a trail of stairs that offers one of the most spectacular views of the islands. This beach is ideal for snorkeling, and you may be able to spot the Galapagos penguin.

Santiago Island: Sullivan Bay

Coral beach landings lead you to a lava field that stretches as far as the eye can view. For signs of plant life, hunt and peck the two types of lava pahoehoe or 'a'a that have emerged in the 100 years since the last volcanic eruption. It's a truly incredible volcanic experience...up close!
